I'm a career breaking teacher-turned-SAHM, wife and website founder!
Before getting married and having my children I studied for my BA (Hons) English degree at the University of Ulster at Coleraine. After completing this, I went on to study for my PGCE (Post-Graduate Certificate in Education).
I have taught in a number of Primary schools in Jersey and N. Ireland and most recently I was an English supply teacher in a local Grammar school.
At the moment I'm enjoying being a full-time mum and wife, caring for my lovely hubby and our three children.
Since having children I've become a strong advocate for breastfeeding, so much so that I have a website, www.BreastFeedingMums.com, which is full of pregnancy and breastfeeding information and advice for pregnant and breastfeeding mums. It keeps me very busy as I write most of the articles myself!
I have also included articles by renowned breastfeeding expert, Dr Jack Newman, on the site so that medical information is covered too.
I am currently developing a Squidoo lens about Pregnancy and Breastfeeding and one on Digital Photography, two areas of great interest to me!
