Bio Oil - Glowing Skin for the First Time Ever (Product Review)

I might be pregnant for the fourth time but this is the first time I've ever tried out Bio-Oil . Strangely, I wasn't actually pregnant, or even considering pregnancy when I bought a bottle of it in a local pharmacy, but I'd decided to try it on my face after noticing how lovely my sister's skin was and finding out she'd been using Bio Oil as her moisturiser for a few months!

Anyway, I used it a few times and then, as with a lot of things, more or less forgot about it and it languished in my bedside drawer for a maybe a year before I decided to try it for real about 8 weeks ago.

The reason I'd decided to try again was simply because I'd again noticed my sister's skin fabulous skin and chatted with her again about her Bio Oil experience. She hadn't one negative word to say about it, so out of interest I started reading some personal reviews over on Amazon and couldn't quite believe how successful it had been for so many people - even plastic surgeons recommending it to their patients after surgery to reduce the appearance of scars!

Whilst most people, myself included, tend to see Bio Oil as predominantly a pregnancy product, it actually can be used any time and for a variety of reasons. Fortunately, I've never suffered from stretch marks (which happens to be a family thing as neither of my sisters nor my mum did either), but I have suffered throughout my life, from my teenage years onwards from acne, some of which has left some slight scarring. After seeing the dramatic change in my sister's skin tone I made up my mind that this time I'd persevere.

Well, I've been trying to decide whether or not to treat myself to a brand new breast pump before our new baby is born in November but I just can't make up my mind! Initially I was thinking I'd like to try a double pump as I always had a bit of an oversupply issue. On the Third Day of Christmas at Next

On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me ... Stop! Three French Hens! Can you just imagine how you might respond if your loved one presented you with three French hens for Christmas?

Thankfully, for me that's not likely and for my hubby, the gift I've chosen for him this winter season is the loveliest Charcoal Wool Rich Coat from Next.

Although I'd intended giving it to him for his birthday (which falls on Boxing Day), given the recent cold snowy weather here, I ended up giving him his new coat a few weeks early!

Despite the fact that he now has nothing fancy to look forward to from me on his special day, he's absolutely thrilled with it and says he's never had such a warm coat and as someone who is what we call cold-blooded, ie feels the coal more than most, that's saying a lot. He looks really cosy and very stylish heading into the office every morning this week!

On the second day of Christmas apparently the lady's true love presented her with two turtle doves!

Well, I didn't attempt to find any birds today, but I have just returned from another very successful and impromptu shopping trip to Next where I bought some lovely and perhaps more practical gifts for my son and my nephew.

Adam, my nephew, is Star Wars crazy at the moment and guessing that Santa Claus will probably deliver some Star Wars toys I decided I'd try to get him some themed clothes instead. I was delighted when I spied some long-sleeved tops and almost chose one when I noticed a lovely Star Wars and Lego themed fleecy hooded top instead.

I ask because I've recently discovered that they've opened a second larger store near my home and upon visiting I was blown away by the huge variety of fantastic products available - everything from clothes for the whole family to home furnishings and unusual gifts perfect for Christmas!
